We realize your time is valuable so please do not apply if you do not have at least the following required minimum qualifications:Įducation: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC CertificateĮxperience: One (1) year of experience in assisting in the operation and instruction of organized recreation activities Knowledge and experience in instructing or teaching a variety of activities such as: sports, active games, arts and crafts, dance, drama, fitness, music, and various recreational, educational, or cultural enrichment eventsĮxperience in behavior management in children ages 1 - 7 years old One (1) year of experience in an organized childcare program Performs other related duties as assigned or requested Responsible for the enforcement of all Kid Watch Policies, as well as, general building policiesĬommunicate with the supervisor concerning cleaning supplies and program material as neededĭevelop positive relations with customers communicate recreation programs information to participants and parents Responsible for completing and reporting accidents or injuries occurring in the assigned area completing required forms for each child placed in and removed from Kid Watch Spearheads the organization of each day's activities to provide children with a variety of programming Provides a safe and fun environment in which both children and theirparents feel comfortable
Job duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: You will help implement a variety of activities which may include: sports, active games, arts and crafts, dance, drama, fitness, music, and various recreational, educational, or cultural enrichment events. TheRecreation Instructors for Kid Watchprovideshort-term childcare service for children ages 1 - 7. This childcare service is available to all members and guests of Central Park Recreation Center while they utilize the facility. Recreation Instructors for Kid Watch will assist in facilitating the overall operations of theKid Watch Child Care Facility. TheCity and County of Denver's Parks and Recreation Departmentis seeking qualified and reliableRecreation Instructors for Kid Watch at Carla Madison Recreation Center. On-call positions may have routine or variable work schedules.
